The Nottawasaga Handweavers and Spinners Guild started in January, 2003, with a group of five fibre enthusiasts. Since then, we have grown to more than thirty members. We gather to share ideas for the advancement of our knowledge and skill in the art of spinning and weaving. The group consists of members at all levels, from beginners to master weavers and spinners. Our objective is to keep these traditional arts thriving. To do this, we give demonstrations and do community outreach to cultivate interest and educate. We welcome, support and encourage new artists. We meet at the historic Gibson Centre in Alliston, ON.
