Nottawasaga Handweavers and Spinners celebrated Canada Parks Day at Riverdale Park in Alliston.
We were small in number, with only 7 guild members and our 10 yr old weaver in training.
We set up a new tent, placed our guild sign out for visitors to see us and were ready to welcome the public.
We had a few families stop to see what we were doing. Several children got to try spinning on a wheel and weaving on our table loom.
Our 10 year old weaver was a good instructor in teaching a young man about weaving on the Dorothy loom.
The families were all from the Alliston area so we were able to hand out info about Seasonal Wrapsody.
It was a perfect day weather wise and, of course, good fellowship for guild members and a chance to reach out to the community..
