The Nottawasaga Tapestries – A Community Threads Project
An inspirational program took place at our monthly meeting on November 15th.
Members who had worked on the 2011 project of weaving 12 tapestries shared the timeline of the who, what, when, where and how the project unfolded to create these masterful reflections of South Simcoe.
They are truly inspirational and members benefitted from seeing them up close and personal, learning the methods used to make each section and their origin, methods and inspiration.
What an accomplishment for all the contributors to the project... a real motivation to our current members!
