Kath G (1)Baby Afghan. I'm excited to be a first time great Aunt soon - love the job of being an aunt, so look forward to spoiling the next generation. Who knew I got that much older that fast!!?
I made it in white - elegant, I hope, and gender neutral (I don't know the gender of the child as yet or the colour preferences the parents may have). The fibre is a washable acrylic/wool blend. I liked the stitch - new to me - coin/blister/tuck - a fairly easy pattern as there are 12 rows with only two being patterned rows. I did run into trouble a few times - not paying attention to the pattern - but that was me, not the difficulty of the work. It is a ravelry pattern - Dean's Blanket.
